Vera Bush, RN - Owner + Aesthetics Nurse
My name is Vera, a nurse living in Nash County, NC. My love for the medical arts is deeply rooted in Emergency Medicine, but through a fiery passion for meeting others in their raw, unfiltered form and serving their needs, destiny has led me to extend my skillset into the world of Aesthetics for the past three years. Here, I’ve found that I am still able to serve others wholeheartedly—caring for their emotional and spiritual well-being by helping boost their confidence and enhancing the natural beauty they already possess.
I believe that true confidence radiates from the inside out. When we embrace our most authentic self, we begin to love the skin we’re in and everything contained within it. We are all worthy of that kind of self-love.
Outside of my work, I enjoy a peaceful country life surrounded by my little farm crew. Alongside my family, I care for our pet dogs, ducks, and goats, who bring a special kind of joy and balance to my day-to-day life.
Hailey Brake - RN + Aesthetics Nurse
Hi there! I'm Hailey, a seasoned nurse with over a decade of experience in the medical field. For years, I've dedicated myself to caring for patients in medical-surgical and emergency room settings. However, my passion for skincare, and beauty has always been a driving force in my life.
Now, I'm excited to embark on a new journey in Medical Aesthetics, where I can combine my medical expertise with my love for all things beauty-related. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to integrate beauty and wellness into my work, and I couldn't be more thrilled to have found a place where I can do just that.
On a personal note, I'm also a proud wife and mother of two wonderful kids—a boy and a girl. In my spare time, you'll often find me indulging in one of my favorite hobbies: sewing clothes for my daughter and myself.

Julia Dameron - RN + Aesthetics Nurse
Hi there, I'm Julia, and nursing has been my calling for the past 13 deeply rewarding years. Caring for others is truly at the heart of who I am. I’m also happily married and a proud fur-mom—my pets bring so much joy, comfort, and laughter into my life.
Skincare has fascinated me since I was young, and I feel incredibly fortunate to now blend that lifelong passion with my nursing expertise. Helping women feel confident, radiant, and empowered is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do. There’s something so special about witnessing someone rediscover their glow, both inside and out.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you can usually find me cozied up on my porch with my furry companions, savoring good food and peaceful moments. And if you happen to spot me at Modern Aesthetics, don’t be surprised if I’m reliving my ballet days while gliding down the hallway—some passions never fade.

Peyton Vester - Licensed Esthetician
Peyton holds a true passion for enhancing natural beauty. A proud 2023 graduate of Nash Community College, she brings both skill and heart to every treatment she performs.
She specializes in Customized Facials, HydraFacials, Dermaplaning, Waxing, and lash and brow services, delivering thoughtful, results-driven care. Peyton takes great pride in creating noticeable transformations for her clients—helping them look and feel their absolute best with every visit. Her gentle approach, attention to detail, and genuine desire to uplift others make every appointment a positive experience.
Outside the treatment room, Peyton enjoys traveling and spending time with furry friends as a devoted dog sitter. When she’s not caring for clients or pups, she’s happiest soaking up the sun at the beach or enjoying time outdoors hunting. Her warm personality and dedication to her craft make her a perfect fit for our team—and a client favorite in the making!
Iesha Lynch - Esthetician, Lash Artist & Wax Specialist
Iesha graduated from The Aveda Institute of Chapel Hill in 2017 and has been an expert in her specialty for over 8 years. Iesha holds her esthetician teaching license and offers a wide range of aesthetic services including; eyelash extensions, waxing, brow makeovers, customized facials, lash lifts, sugaring and vajacials. Her gentle approach makes every appointment a comfortable empowering experience.
Iesha is a loving mom to an autistic little boy, and their home is filled with joy, love and many adventures! Outside of the treatment room, she enjoys playing the clarinet, trying new food spots, visiting museums, and spending time with her pet chameleon, Rango.
Bri Locke - Aesthetics Practice Manager
Bri is our dedicated Aesthetics Practice Manager, bringing 12 years of experience in the beauty industry and in delivering exceptional client care. With an extensive background in managing medical spas, she has a deep understanding of both client needs and operational efficiency. Her passion for creating positive, memorable experiences—paired with her strong leadership—makes her an invaluable part of the Modern Aesthetics team.
Bri is committed to cultivating a welcoming, supportive environment where client satisfaction and team collaboration come first. Her drive for professional growth and her genuine care for others continuously elevate the standards of our practice.
Outside of work, Bri enjoys a full and joyful life as a proud police officer’s wife to her husband, William. Together, they share a spirited four-year-old son, Liam, and a new baby girl, Lily.
Dr. Mark N. Perlmutter MS, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Perlmutter is a board certified and hand surgery fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon in private practice. His group’s primary office is located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina where Dr. Perlmutter focuses his orthopedic activities on the treatment of hand and upper extremity related issues. Although he embraces only the most modern surgical techniques, such as minimally invasive hand surgery, he has a strong emphasis on the conservative management of all medical conditions. By combining state of the art medical procedures with the old-fashioned principles of availability, compassion, and honesty in patient care, Dr. Perlmutter has earned a strong reputation for excellence in the community.
